About Elena

A seasoned professional, and a genuinely personal service.

As a seasoned real estate professional, I understand that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: it is a life-changing experience. That is why I am dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service for all of my clients. I take great pride in the relationships I build, and I always work relentlessly on the client's behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals.

My philosophy is simple: clients come first. I pledge to be in constant communication with my clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. I believe that if you are not left with an amazing experience, I have not done my job. I do not measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction of my clients.

In practice that means an MBA's discipline applied to a very human decision. Contra Costa County is not one market. A Northgate ranch does not price like a downtown Walnut Creek condominium, and a Danville home in the San Ramon Valley answers to a different set of buyers again. Knowing those differences — and being straight with you about them — is the whole job.

I hold the Accredited Buyer's Representative and e-PRO designations, and I work with buyers, sellers and clients relocating into the East Bay from elsewhere in the Bay Area. Several of my sellers have completed a full preparation and sale remotely, without setting foot in the area during the process.

Working Together

Three ways clients usually start.

Whichever one you are, the first step is the same: a real conversation, with no pressure and no obligation attached to it.

01

Buying in the East Bay

Preparation is what wins homes here. We do that part before you ever write an offer.

  • Your criteria turned into a filtered short list, so you tour only homes worth seeing
  • Neighborhood-by-neighborhood comparisons across Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Danville
  • Disclosure packages read closely and explained in plain language
  • Offer strategy built for how this market actually behaves right now
02

Selling Your Home

Most of the result is decided before the listing goes live. Order of operations matters.

  • A walk-through separating worthwhile work from wasted spend
  • Pricing from recent closings on your streets, not a national index
  • Preparation, staging and photography coordinated on your behalf
  • Negotiation that protects your terms and your timeline, not only your number
03

Relocating or Selling Remotely

Moving into Contra Costa from another county — or selling from far away.

  • Remote sale management, including homes coming off years as a rental
  • Coordination of trades, cleaning and access when you cannot be there
  • Sequencing a sale and a purchase so you are never exposed twice
  • An orientation to the area for buyers arriving from outside the East Bay

The Process

What working together actually looks like.

No mystery and no surprises halfway through. Here is the whole arc, whether you are buying or selling.

01

The First Conversation

We talk about what you want and what is driving the timeline. Sometimes the honest outcome of that call is that you should wait, and I will say so.

02

The Numbers, Honestly

For sellers, what your home is realistically likely to bring and what it would cost to get there. For buyers, what your budget genuinely reaches in each neighborhood once condition is accounted for.

03

Preparation

Repairs, cleaning, staging and photography for sellers. Full pre-approval, disclosure reading and a filtered target list for buyers. This unglamorous stage decides most of the outcome.

04

Going to Market

The listing goes live, or offers start going out. You hear from me on a cadence we agree in advance — constant communication is a commitment, not a courtesy.

05

Negotiation

Price is one term among many. Contingencies, credits, timelines and possession often matter more, and they are where deals are quietly won or lost.

06

Close, and Afterwards

Escrow coordinated through to keys, then I stay available — for the contractor referral, the tax bill question, or settling into a new part of the county.

The Areas

Contra Costa County, neighborhood by neighborhood.

The East Bay rewards people who know what they are looking at. A short orientation to the communities I work in most.

Downtown Walnut Creek shopping street with trees and low-rise storefronts
Walnut Creek

Downtown & Central Walnut Creek

The commercial heart of central Contra Costa: walkable shopping streets, restaurants and BART within reach of a lot of front doors. Condominiums and townhomes near the core appeal to downsizers and commuters, while the older neighborhoods just outside it trade walkability for lot size.

Northgate area Walnut Creek street of ranch homes with Mount Diablo behind
Walnut Creek

Northgate

Wide streets, deep lots and single-story homes sitting under Mount Diablo, with the Northgate school attendance area doing a great deal of the work on demand. Buyers here are usually trading downtown proximity for space, quiet and a yard, and condition varies enormously house to house.

Pleasant Hill California residential street with ranch homes and blossoming trees
Contra Costa

Pleasant Hill

Mid-century ranch stock on friendly, level streets, generally at a lower entry point than comparable Walnut Creek homes a few minutes away. Popular with first-time buyers and young families, and one of the areas where a well-prepared listing separates most sharply from an unprepared one.

Danville California street of larger two-story homes with rolling hills behind
San Ramon Valley

Danville

Larger, newer homes on the valley floor and into the hills, with a distinct buyer pool that is often relocating for schools and space. Pricing here answers to the San Ramon Valley rather than to central Walnut Creek, which is exactly the sort of distinction an online estimate misses.

Rolling golden Contra Costa County hills with oaks and hillside homes
Contra Costa County

The Surrounding County

Beyond the four communities above, Contra Costa runs from hillside properties with access, drainage and fire-hardening questions to flat suburban tracts with none of them. Those questions belong in the conversation early, not at the inspection.

Relocating into the East Bay

Clients regularly arrive from Marin, San Francisco and elsewhere in the Bay Area needing to sell in one county and buy in another, quickly. That work is mostly filtering and sequencing: eliminating the homes that do not fit before anyone spends a Saturday on them, and timing the two transactions so they do not collide.

Common Questions

Straight answers to what I get asked most.

What areas do you serve?

Walnut Creek and its neighborhoods including Northgate, plus Pleasant Hill, Danville and the surrounding Contra Costa County communities. Buyers relocating into Contra Costa from Marin, San Francisco or elsewhere in the Bay Area are a regular part of the work.

Can you handle a sale if I am not in the area?

Yes. Remote sellers are a specialty. Past clients have completed an entire preparation and sale process — including a home that had been a rental for several years and needed updating — without being present in the area at any point.

How do you price a home in Walnut Creek?

From what has actually closed near you recently, and from the condition of your specific home. Not from an automated online estimate. Pricing across Contra Costa varies sharply between communities, and often between blocks within the same community.

Do I need to renovate before I sell?

Rarely all of it. Some work returns far more than it costs and some returns nothing at all. We walk the home together and separate the two before you spend a dollar.

Do you work with first-time buyers?

Yes. First-time buyers benefit most from an agent who explains disclosures, inspections and contingencies rather than rushing past them — and who filters the available listings down to the homes actually worth a visit.

How often will I hear from you?

Constant communication is the standing commitment: you are kept fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process, on a cadence we agree at the start rather than only when there happens to be news.
